The title of this book (which includes the FAHS photos in this gallery) is the German word for "memories" Erinnerungen.
On October 14, 1946 38 elementary and 5 high schools opened their doors to 2800 students from all 48 of the United States in Germany and that was the beginning of the American educational system in Germany.
