Creating images with a camera is my passion. I have been freelancing for only 2 years, focusing mostly on sports action photography. I'm a proud graduate of Morningside College with a doctorate from the University of Southern California. My 37 year career in education has given me an opportunity to document the daily lives of students, teachers and administrators at work and at play in the USA and Europe. My work has been published in local, regional, national and European magazines and newspapers.
Photography provides the opportunity for me to meet people and record places and events I'd never otherwise experience. Now retired, I am blessed with an understanding wife and am able to devote as much time as I want to my avocation.

My son Tyler LaFave is # 24 on the North High football team, the photos are awesome, you can see every detail in their faces. Cody Ahrendt # 19 has some great pictures running with the ball. Beau Gill # 17 (in the TJ game) struggling to get the football across the goal line was great. The cheerleaders, band, fans, every player simply great. This Thursday is parents night at Elwood stadium, we're playing Council Bluffs AL, I would love it if you were able to take pictures at this game, especially of the 17 seniors on the team. I would love to make a video dedicated to the seniors( I did this 2 years ago for my other son,) and was wondering if you could help me out.
